Ryan lived abroad in Berlin, Germany in the late 90's. There he discovered dance music and club culture. When he moved back to Philadelphia, he teamed up with Rizumu formerly Funkshun, and began djing regulary in the early 2000's. Ryans dj career peaked in 2005 when he became a resident dj for Frankie Bones at Emerald City in Philly. Not long afterward he became intersted in electronic instruments and started acquiring vintage drum machines, synthesizers, samplers and sequencers. This led to the creation of a studio and propelled Ryan to perform live using some of his favorite hardware. His tools of choice are a Roland TR909, 808, 505, Alesis HR16, MMT8 sequencer, Korg ES-1 sampler, Virus B and Waldorf microQ. His live pas can be described as moving between detroit techno to acid to house.
